And at long last something happened...

So, it may have taken me many many many weeks of faffing around with a camera, but i finally managed to take some photos, sit down at the computer for an hour, and begin to list the items on our Etsy Store!

And then i turned the images of the banner into a magical colour flashy fabulous thing!! So its not exactly perfect, but it will do to show what we could do with our banner!!

Some Banners!!

OOOooooo look some banners for you too look at love! Neither Laura nor i can actually take credit for these, as a friend designed them for us!! But i still thought i would share them with you!
They are going to be used in our etsy store, and maybe some other places, the top of this page for example maybe!!

The etsy store is sort of set up, it has nothing in it, nor is it verified yet, but paypal is taking far longer then they said they would to sort it all out, so we must wait till they do their thing!! But for now just look at the pretty colours!!

Some after show thoughts

Ok, so the actual selling of things didnt go that well at Helidays, but we had a great time and really enjoyed it!! Im uploading a couple of photos that we took of the stall. Also some close up's of the jewelry that i made as i havent done that yet!!







So now we have to move forwards to something else, which is this www.etsy.com/people/SplitandWrecks, our new etsy store!! But as you may have noticed there is not actually anything on it quite yet!! But there will be, give us to the end of the week and there should be things to see and buy!!

Making a sale

So we're still at helidays in Weston super mare and we're ever so excited as we've each sold an item! Of course it would be even better if we were sold out but either way we're happy. Plus what ever is left after tomorrow can go on etsy or eBay :)

Some Wonderful Bunting

So i dont have any photos of the jewlry ive been making, mostly because none of the photos i have tried to take have come out that amazing. But ill try harder in the next few days!!
Instead i have two photos of the bunting that i have been making for us. The first one is slightly blurry, for which i am sorry, but shows a better close up!
Im currently in the process of sewing letters onto the triangles as well, so will put up some more photos of that when its done!!

I like to call it the hawaiian print, fully lined, twisted tote with zip closure. I'm pretty sure its the best one so far :)

Why hello there

And welcome along to our blog!!

We are going to be showing you all the wonderful things we have been making and designing, but first we are going to have to go away and actually make some!!

So this entry is really just to say hello, and introduce ourselves i guess! We're two art students who have mild issues with the need to shop versus the amount in our bank accounts! We also can never seem to find interesting things to buy, (and betsey johnson is just too expensive) so we have decided to start making our own things instead. And then in order to help the previously mentioned bank account issues we shall also be selling them to you!

So yeh, that is pretty much a quick round up of what this is, and now we must go away and start making things to show you!!
